The nearest airport is conveniently far away. The terrace and free parking were fantastic for.well, parking. And the washing machine, oh yes, I've always dreamed of doing laundry on vacation.
Oh, the horror! They didn't provide a deck of cards or board games!

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely little cottage in a quiet and scenic part of the world. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with stone circles, old castles, and miles of unspoilt countryside right on the doorstep. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and well laid out, allowing us to spread out and relax. The views were also breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the place. Additionally, there were plenty of activities nearby, from walking at Kilmartin to canoeing at Crinan. We even had the chance to spot eagles at Easdale and beavers and otters at Loch Collie Barr. The locals were friendly and made us feel welcome wherever we went.
While the cottage was well-appointed, it would have been nice to have a few games or a deck of cards for those rainy days. The cutlery was also a bit limited, and the television only had channels that required accounts, despite being given passwords by the host.

We had a great value for our money at this lovely little cottage. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and within walking distance of stone circles, old castles, and miles of unspoilt countryside. The staff at the hotel were friendly and responsive, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Food for breakfast could have been better with more variety.

Lovely cottage, great views, friendly locals, easy to explore from, responsive owners, clear instructions.
Struggled with the shower and had to figure it out ourselves, could use some additional entertainment options for rainy days, need to walk on the road to find a suitable place to walk the dog.

Loved the free parking, the terrace was a nice touch. The garden views from the patio were delightful. Hiking nearby gave me the chance to exercise my new boots. Dunoon was just 35 km away, not that I went.
Oh, how I missed a washing machine in my holiday home. It's such a pleasure to hand wash clothes on vacation.

The location of the hotel is excellent, allowing for easy exploration of the surrounding area. Guests can enjoy beautiful views and take part in activities such as walking, canoeing, and wildlife spotting. the locals are friendly, and there are shops and other amenities available nearby.
One aspect that could be improved is the lack of hanging area or hooks for clothes in the bedrooms. there is no mirror at the right height for drying hair, which can be inconvenient.

We had a wonderful stay at Mawenyoupe in Lochgilphead. The owners were incredibly responsive and friendly, ready to assist us with any questions we had. The location was excellent, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. The property itself was beautiful, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the quiet small town atmosphere and the friendly locals. Despite a small road without a pavement, we found a nice place to walk our dog nearby. The only drawbacks were limited cutlery and the need for accounts to access television channels. However, these were minor in comparison to the overall positive experience. The property itself was absolutely stunning and the surroundings were beautiful. We enjoyed the quietness of the small town and found the locals to be very friendly. The owner of the property was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The cottage was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. We also appreciated the easy access to a nearby walking area for our dog.
We did experience some difficulty with the shower, but we were able to figure it out on our own. It would have been helpful if the owners had provided clearer instructions or assistance.
